Survivor Series is coming up in a couple of months, which means the Royal Rumble is officially right around the corner (a long corner, but you catch my drift)! Since Royal Rumble is my absolute favorite of all the WWE pay-per-views, here is my list of the best options of who should win the Royal Rumble this year.

The Royal Rumble has always had an air of heightened anticipation surround it that’s exclusive and unique. It’s the biggest stipulated match that WWE puts on from year to year, literally and figuratively, and it’s safe to say that if you’re a fan of the WWE, you always feel an extra buzz of excitement watching as thirty men step into the ring, and twenty-nine step (or get tossed) out.

The winner of the Rumble, of course, earns their right to face the current top champion of their brand at Wrestlemania, so to come out victorious at the Rumble is very obviously a huge honor and an even greater opportunity. Last year’s Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura landed himself not only a championship match at Mania, but a program with SmackDown Live’s WWE Champion AJ Styles that spanned for months afterwards.

Here are my early top favorites for which WWE performer should come out victorious this January. I’m going under the assumption thus far that both Roman Reigns and AJ Styles will be the champions of their respective brands come Rumble time.
