3. Bobby Lashley Is Starting To Recover From Recent Creative Mistreatment

The WWE universe was excited when Bobby Lashley returned to the WWE after a 10-year hiatus the night after WrestleMania 34 earlier this year.  Since then, Lashley has had a mixed bag of main-roster success and creative mistreatment that has clouded his return.

Lashley’s first program was an atrocious one with Sami Zayn, but after that, he would begin tangling with Roman Reigns.  The two squared off at Extreme Rules and Lashley did the unthinkable, he pinned Reigns clean with a spear.  This appeared to be his rise to the Universal Championship level, but it wouldn’t pan out and The Big Dog got the chance to dethrone Brock Lesnar while Lashley got nothing.

It was criminal how the WWE treated Lashley at this time, but it appears like he’s finally starting to recover with his recent partnership with Lio Rush.  Lashley took on Elias last night in his hometown of Denver and got a big homecoming response from the WWE universe.  After a pretty good match, The Dominator took care of Elias and got the win.

It will be Lashley and John Cena battling Elias and Kevin Owens at Super Show-Down, but the bigger picture might be how Rush has helped Lashley out in becoming an over babyface.  Maybe it was just because he was in his hometown, but Lashley just feels different these days and a lot of that can be attributed to his manager and hype man.

The Dominator was creatively mistreated after Extreme Rules, but it seems like he is finally getting back on track with a charismatic manager in his corner.
