2. Rusev, Aiden English, And Lana Segment

Rusev Day took the WWE by storm when Aiden English and Rusev aligned themselves together last year.  The two led arguably the most over gimmick in the WWE and produced some of the most memorable moments in the WWE in that timeframe.

The issues between the two have started breaking out in recent months, however, and the inevitable ultimately took place last week when English turned on Rusev and his wife Lana.  Many questioned where this angle would go from that point, but last night saw a huge development in this storyline when Rusev called out English to explain himself.

Rusev and Lana wanted answers from English, but the segment would take a surprising turn towards the end.  Before that point, English showed a couple of video packages to explain why he did what he did.  He said things were great when it was just himself and Rusev together, but when Lana joined the picture, things started getting worse.

English took it to another level when he questioned Lana’a commitment to Rusev by bringing up what happened one night in Milwaukee between English and Lana.  A mic drop followed and English didn’t disclose what he meant by those words, but he did say he has video proof of what happened and he will show it next week on SmackDown.  This was a great segment that was perfectly laid out with the story being told well, not to mention the huge cliffhanger at the end.

Rusev Day no longer features The Shakespeare Of Song, but if this alleged Milwaukee accusation took place, it might not longer feature Lana either.
