Before closing up shop, we get one more update on Callihan and Havoc as they fight their way out of the arena. Both men are visibly weakened but just can’t stop themselves from trying to maim the other. Havoc delivers his Acid Rainmaker to send Callihan down another flight of stairs eliciting a “You’re crazy, Jimmy!” from Callihan.

Havoc picks up a metal pipe and chases Callihan toward the parking lot. Havoc professes to Callihan, as he raises the pipe like a javelin, that “now is your time to die.” Callihan immediately turns and sprints away through the parking lot as Havoc blurts out, “Where are you going?!” as he gives Callihan chase.

Grade: Amazing. I love the thread of these two running throughout the entire show – two insane guys fighting each other for an hour with a hint of camp to it at times.

Fury Road looms in the distance on October 4 in New York City with another stacked card ready to be taped for MLW Fusion. With the Fury Road Control Center we get a rundown of matches that have already been announced as well as some new ones.

MJF will defend the World Middleweight Championship against the former TBD partners Jason Cade and Jimmy Yuta in an elimination-style three-way dance. This should be an easy pick for one of the matches of the night, though I do wonder what role Joey Janela would have played here had he not blown out his knee at GCW recently. Hopefully there’s room back on the MLW roster for The Bad Boy once his knee is healed up.

Brody King continues to try to cut a path through legends and icons in the industry coming off of his hoss-off draw against PCO when he takes on Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer will have the home-field advantage with the New York crowd as he looks to continue the momentum from his team’s War Games victory.

Tom Lawlor and Shane Strickland fight for pride and bragging rights to see who will lead MLW into the future. Lawlor has a guaranteed World Heavyweight Title shot from his Battle Riot win while Strickland is looking to climb back up the mountain after dropping the title to Low Ki.

The Hart Foundation team in trios action to face ACH, Rich Swann and the debuting Marko Stunt. If Stunt is given time to shine here, the New York crowd is going to be in for a treat. Bonus points if Davey Boy throws him real high and/or real far.

Sammy Guevara returns to MLW against Hijo de LA Park presented by his former promoter Salina de La Renta. Guevara is a ton of fun and I’m stoked to see him back in an MLW ring. Simon Gotch brings his Prize Fight Challenge to New York – maybe we’ll see the prize bumped up to six, even seven hundred dollars?!

PCO and LA Park will have what can probably best be described as a freak show match, because everything you will see when these two maniacs collide will be insane and beautiful all at once. Speaking of insane and beautiful, Jimmy Havoc and Sami Callihan will, of course, square off in the revitalized Spin The Wheel Make The Deal Match bringing even more ridiculousness to their feud.

After being announced on Twitter, we now know that Low Ki will defend the MLW World Heavyweight Title against Daga. Daga has raised his stock over the past few years with appearances in Lucha Underground and looks to do the same in MLW under the tutelage of Konnan.

Becky Lynch Should Have Been SmackDown’s Top Face. dark. Next

Next week on MLW Fusion, the Mexican Massacre Match between LA Park and Pentagon will main event. I’m ready to pop some TUMS to keep my stomach from going too wild as, I’m sure, Park and Penta will all but tear one another’s masks from their faces.
