5. Candice LeRae

Right now, Candice is a staple in the NXT Women’s Division, but is plagued by a particular recurring element that the powers that be have decided should be her only characteristic: her marriage to Johnny Gargano.

Candice LeRae is one of the toughest wrestlers on the planet, known for her intergender matches in the indies. While it may be some time before she’s wrestling intergender again, she should at least be allowed to show how tough she is. Sure, she’s in NXT right now, but that doesn’t mean that she can’t make a big statement.

Make her be sick of being made fun of the the point she starts actively challenging Becky to a fight to make an impression and show that she’s not just a wife. Becky disregards her until Candice is right at her door fighting her and making her relent, or at least impressing Paige enough into making the match. Becky would of course taunt her endlessly, pointing out that she’s nothing without Johnny and should stay in NXT.

Win or lose, Candice could easily match Becky blow for blow and even make her have multiple attempts to put her away. Either way, Candice could definitely end up proving that she’s more than Mrs. Gargano to the WWE audience.
