Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Kenny King

Liger and King open the show, and Liger got a great pop when his music hit. Liger dominated the early portion of the match with some great technical wrestling. King managed to block a suplex to the outside and swept Liger’s legs before hitting a corkscrew tope on Liger. King drove Liger into the apron and began to work over Liger’s back.

King worked over Liger’s back with several backbreakers. Liger managed to hit a superplex, but it hurt his back. King went for the Chin Checker, but Liger cradled him. King kicked out, but Liger hit a facebuster and a frog splash and managed to get a 2 count. King faked a handshake and then he hit a spinebuster and got the pinfall on Liger.

Result: Kenny King

Rating: **1/4 (2.25 stars out of 5)

Kenny King, it seems, has taken Austin Aries’ words to heart and has turned heel here. Perfect person to do it against, as Liger is universally beloved.

The Briscoes (c) vs. The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) (SoCal Uncensored) w/ Scorpio Sky – ROH World Tag Team Championship

Daniels and Kazarian took it right too the Briscoes and the Briscoes ran to the outside of the ring more than once. The Briscoes managed to turn it around and beat SoCal Uncensored all around ringside. Daniels hit the barricade several times, then after a heat segment in the ring, Mark threw Daniels into the guardrail again. Mark Briscoe hit a Death Valley Driver and went for the Froggy Bow, but Daniels countered with a Blue Thunder Bomb.

He wasn’t able to tag out immediately, but Kazarian did make it into the ring and he ran wild for a bit before hitting a diving hurricanrana to the outside. However, Jay Briscoe took him out with a big boot, but Daniels took him out with a crossbody! Daniels hit a stomp onto Jay’s chest and then a cannonball onto Mark. The Addiction went for the doomsday device, but the Briscoes managed to escape. While the referee was distracted, Kazarian was driven into the seat of a chair with a backbreaker, and it busted him open.

Daniels tried to fight both men off and managed to hit a double clothesline but there was nobody to tag. Scorpio Sky told him that Kazarian was on the floor and being checked on by a doctor. Daniels rolled Jay up when they went for a doomsday device and threw him out of the ring. He then hit a Best Moonsault Ever on Mark, but Jay broke it up. Jay Briscoe hit a Jay Driller on the outside! He rolled Daniels in but Mark couldn’t pin him! Jay Briscoe picked him up and hit a Jay Driller, and he pinned Daniels for the win.

Result: The Briscoes
