Punishment Martinez (c) vs. Chris Sabin – ROH World Television Championship

Sabin took it right to Martinez with a roll up, and then a ton of fast paced offense. Sabin hit a dive, then countered a powerbomb attempt and went for another dive. Martinez caught Sabin and chokeslammed him on the apron. Sabin did manage to make a comeback and hit two dives again, before hitting a crossbody to the outside off the top rope.

Sabin hit a missile dropkick off the top rope and went for the Cradle Shock, but Martinez shoved Sabin towards the referee. Sabin stopped short, but Martinez almost hit him. Martinez kicked Sabin, and he flew into the referee. While the referee was down, Martinez grabbed a chair, but Sabin dropkicked him in the knee and he hit it face first. Sabin hit a Tornado DDT onto the chair but Martinez kicked out. Martinez hit a curb stomp, and then his chokeslam for the pinfall victory.

Result: Punishment Martinez

Rating: ** (2 stars out of 5)

Martinez threatened to curb stomp Sabin onto the chair, but Jeff Cobb came out and walked down the ramp to save him! Cobb ate a chairshot from Martinez, and just shrugged it off and suplexed the life out of him.

Bully Ray cut a promo on Flip and Colt and came out to a course of boos. This was actually really awesome. Bully Ray cut a great promo and then walked out with no music to boos from the crowd.

Flip Gordon & Colt Cabana vs. Bully Ray & Silas Young

Flip Gordon attacked Bully Ray right away and hit a superkick on both Ray and Young. Flip and Colt Cabana took it to both men, and the action spilled to ringside. Cabana and Flip hit the What’s Up headbutt, and then Colt asked Flip to get the tables. Bully Ray pulled the table out of the way when Colt and Flip tried to suplex Silas through a table.

Flip hit a series of kicks but Silas cut him off, Colt hit a springboard moonsault on both men, and Flip hit a dive to the outside on Silas. Bully Ray grabbed a chair and killed Colt with it. Bully Ray yelled at Ian Riccaboni. Riccaboni ran to ringside and checked on Colt. Flip hit a dive on Bully Ray, and Silas hit a dive on Flip. Ian handed Colt a chair and Colt nailed Bully a few times before trying to powerbomb him through the timekeeper’s table. Bully cut him off and powerbombed Colt through the table.

Bully shoved Ian down to the ground, and Flip was left alone in the ring as Bully Ray and Silas beat on him. Silas accidentally clotheslined Bully, and both Silas and Bully started arguing. This gave Flip a chance to recover, and they started brawling with each other. Flip tried to dropkick them both, but they dodged and went back to beating on Flip.

They threw Flip towards a table in the corner, but Flip flipped backwards, launching himself off the table. Bully Ray ran at him, and Flip dodged and put Bully through the table. Silas immediately attacked Flip and hit a crazy lariat that caused Flip to backflip off the apron onto the floor. Silas went for a TKO, but as Flip spun, he hit the referee. Flip hit a 450 splash off the top rope through the table on Silas, but the referee was down. Bully attacked Flip and put him in the wreckage of the table. The referee woke up and saw Flip lying there and called for the bell.

Result: Bully Ray & Silas Young

Rating: **3/4 (2.75 stars out of 5)

I’m not sure if ROH made the right call here. The screwjob finish will get heat on Bully Ray and Silas Young, but Flip has to eventually overcome. Maybe we’ll see a Fight Without Honor at ROH Final Battle between him and Bully Ray?

After the match, we saw Tenille Dashwood was attacked by someone backstage.
