Credit: RING OF HONOR//ROHWrestling.com
Bullet Club Elite (The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Hangman Page, Marty Scurll, & Cody) w/ Brandi Rhodes vs. CHAOS (The Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta) Rocky Romero, Tomohiro Ishii, & Kazuchika Okada)
Okada got the biggest reaction, by far, when he came out. Ishii started the match Hangman Page and both men exchanged some tough shots before Ishii tagged in Okada. Marty demanded to be tagged in by Page, and Page obliged. The crowd popped huge for seeing Marty vs. Okada again, but Okada decided to tag out to Rocky to a course of boos.
Marty and Rocky started exchanging some strikes, and Chuck Taylor tagged in. Nick Jackson was tagged in soon thereafter, and the pace of the match kicked up. Taylor hit an inverted atomic drop on Nick Jackson, but it broke down soon between The Best Friends and the Bucks, with the Best Friends getting the best of it. Okada and Cody were both in the ring and we are getting the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion in the ring against one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
Okada hit a flapjack and tagged in Baretta. Cody tried to hit a dive onto Baretta to the outside, but Baretta hit a tope con hilo. Hangman Page hit his shooting star press, and Rocky Romero took him out. Nick Jackson hit a huge dive, and then Chuck Taylor hit a flip dive off the stage. Ishii climbed to the top rope and hit a cannonball off the top rope onto everyone! Cody Rhodes hit a low blow on Trent when Brandi distracted the referee.
Marty Scurll hit a superplex on Trent, driving him too the mat. Cody came back in and began to work over Trent, but it broke back down soon as Rocky Romero hit a series of hurricanrana’s all over the ring before hitting his Forever Clotheslines on all of the Bullet Club. Rocky took them all out, but was left standing with all 5 Bullet Club members in the ring. All 5 men superkicked him, which was great. Okada was tagged in soon thereafter, and he took it to everyone.
There was a series of exchanges so fast that I couldn’t keep up. Marty Scrull went to break Ishii’s fingers, but Ishii just headbutted Scrull. Cody hit the Disaster Kick on Ishii, but Ishii no-sold it and clotheslined both Page and Cody. The Bucks went for the Meltzer Driver on Okada, but Taylor saved him and they hit a spike piledriver on Matt Jackson. After another exchange of moves, Cody ended up hitting the Cross Rhodes on Okada, and Jackson tagged Cody in.
Cody picked him up, but Okada hit the Rainmaker! Okada tagged out to Ishii, and Cody tagged out to Page. Page and Ishii brawled all over the ring before Page hit a Buckshot Lariat on Ishii. Page went for the Rite of Passage, but Ishii deadlifted him for a powerbomb, but ended up hitting a lariat instead. The match broke down again, and Ishii tagged out to Rocky Romero. Cody and Ishii brawled on the outside of the ring, while Scurll and Romero exchanged strikes on the inside that ended with Marty superkicking Rocky and hitting a powerbomb.
Rocky almost got caught in the chicken wing, but Matt Jackson accidentally superkicked Marty. There was a ton of missed cues here from Bullet Club as they kept accidentally hitting each other, but somehow, Marty Scurll managed to transition a suplex into a chicken wing on Rocky Romero and Rocky tapped out!
Result: The Bullet Club Elite
Rating ****1/2 (4.5 stars out of 5)
Nick Aldis was on commentary throughout the match, and he announced that the match between Cody and Aldis would be a best 2/3 falls match.
