WWE Raw Preview and Predictions: Ronda Rousey vs. Ruby Riott

A Wild John Cena Appears!
At Super Show-Down, John Cena will team up with Bobby Lashley to face Elias and Kevin Owens. Outside of social media postings, the WWE Universe hasn’t seen The Face That Runs The Place since the Greatest Royal Rumble, when he defeated Triple H in a match that really served little to no purpose.
But Owens, Elias, and Lashley? They’ve been around plenty on WWE Raw, for better or for worse. Lashley has had his issues with both The Prizefighter and The Voice of Our Generation. Lio Rush has been effective as a manager for MY MAN Bob Lashley, but as a physical preference he may not be the best option.
With a singles match booked between Owens and Lashley ahead of the big tag match, I’d be willing to wager that Cena will make a “surprise” appearance (after spending the past few months in China) to save Lashley from a two on one beatdown. Elias will either be in KO’s corner, or will come down during the match to cause a distraction, leading to the ambush. Rush will be a total nonfactor, as I’d guess he’ll be taken out shortly after his acrobatics display begins.
And that’s when Cena’s music will hit, he’ll still do his full entrance (even though ol’ Bob’s getting his butt kicked), he’ll soak in the “Let’s Go Cena/Cena Sucks” chants, and he’ll hit the ring. I mean, there’s gotta be some kind of build to get to Cena in the ring teaming with Lashley other than “we really didn’t want to do a singles match between Owens and Cena, and Lashley and Elias weren’t doing anything,” right?
