WWE Raw Predictions: Triple H, Shawn Michaels Throw Down Gauntlet

The Seventh Move of Doom is “Disappearing Quietly Again”
At Super Show-Down, Bobby Lashley handled the majority of the match, but John Cena picked up the victory over Elias and Kevin Owens after debuting his newest finisher and “Sixth Move of Doom”: The Lightning Fist. It was vintage Cena, right down to being the one to pick up the victory for his team by pinning the superstar with tremendous momentum.
So despite Elias being better than anyone on the roster at getting heat these days, he took the pin, and rather than get a chance at retribution, odds are that Cena is going to be doing his best Jimmy Hoffa impression. Where does that leave Elias and his new buddy KO this week? And what about Lashley, who did little to nothing to vanquish his most recent foes?
Well, have you watched WWE or Raw any time in the past few months? Nothing’s going to change! Cena may be off learning more new moves in China, but with everyone else back in action, it’s just going to be another pass through the monthly cycle. Lashley is going to end up facing either Elias or Owens tonight, and the other is going to interfere.
Personally, I would have much preferred the original Cena/Owens match at Super Show-Down, rather than the tag match audible. But that likely would have resulted in Lashley vs. Elias in a singles match, and — sadly — that’s not the kind of thing that puts hundreds of thousands of butts in seats.
Hey, at least we’re probably on the path to Lashley and Lio Rush teaming up to face Elias and Owens next!
