MLW Is Growing – Does It Need A Women’s Division Next?
Impact Wrestling followers may already be familiar with Shotzi Blackheart who had a couple of appearances for the company earlier this summer. Blackheart found herself on the shelf with an injury keeping her from a STARDOM tour which is a real shame. Imagining the matches Blackheart could have had against the likes of Konami, Jungle Kyona and Natsu Sumire just makes me hope that the potential for a future tour with the promotion is still on the table.
Billing herself as “The Ballsy Badass”, Blackheart has shown that she can hang with all walks of wrestlers. Like Grace, she has unsuccessfully challenged Tracy Williams for the Powerbomb.TV Independent Wrestling Championship. She has also found herself in the ring with legends and mainstays like Cheerleader Melissa and Christina Von Eerie.
Blackheart is a former Phoenix of RISE Champion dropping the title to Delilah Doom after a 244-day title reign. She’s also the current IWA Mid-South Women’s Champion and GRPW Lady Luck Champion, padding out an already impressive resume for the three-year pro.
There is nobody on the MLW roster quite like Shotzi Blackheart – from her level of energy to her look to her in-ring acumen, she would bring something wholly unique to Major League Wrestling.
