Cage/Pentagon/Fenix vs. OVE Prediction: OVE wins

I know to many of you this is the dark horse ending to this match, but hear me out. Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix have been having a year of a lifetime. Not to mention, Brian Cage has been completely unstoppable since he debuted on Impact. Throw this all together, and you should expect a win from Cage, Pentagon, and Fenix, and an easy one at that…

… or maybe not. OVE and Sami Callihan have been a little on the impotent side since Sami Callihan lost his Mask versus Hair match to Pentagon Jr. at Slammiversary this summer, and this is the perfect place to secure themselves a win where Impact doesn’t have to give a clean loss to the otherwise undefeated Cage.

It also would be pretty moot creatively to have OVE loose in a match of, a.) their choosing, and b.) designed for Ohio, by Ohio (sorry, couldn’t resist) for their own success. It would be the icing on the cake that would only serve to make this team look dumber than they’d ever deserve to.

There’s a lot of possibility for story growth if there’s a loss for Team Lucha tonight as well; it could lead to some seeds of dissent between Cage and Pentagon, Rey Fenix taking on Sami Callihan one-on-one, or taking on the Crists handicapped.
