Raw begins with (scream it with me) THE BIG DOG Roman Reigns in casual gear, which of course bolsters the rumor that he’s injured. Roman’s hair-bun is neater than I could ever make mine, and I’m not sure if I’m in love with or very concerned by a shot of the audience featuring a group of young girls all wearing Ronda Rousey shirts.

Roman Reigns announces that he’s been living with leukemia for the passed 11 years. 11 years, man, and unfortunately it’s back. He’s out indefinitely while he seeks treatment, and our thoughts and prayers are with him right now.

Seth and Dean come out to join him, and Seth Rollins is broken down in absolute tears. This is tough, man. I can’t say I’ve ever been a Roman stan by any means, but you never ever want to see this happen to someone who comes out every week to put on the best show they possibly can.

Michael Cole gives a very poignant speech about how within WWE, it almost seems like these people live in a bubble, and we forget they’re people until something like this happens, and that’s true.

It’s a shame it takes something like this to remind us, but don’t forget to treasure every moment, and to treat everyone with love.
