3. Braun Strowman Looks To Be A Babyface Again

Once Braun Strowman won the Money in the Bank briefcase, fans assumed he would be the next Universal Champion.  However, once the dust cleared, The Monster Among Men came out empty handed and turned heel in the process.

Strowman aligned himself with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre shortly after SummerSlam and their feud with The Shield took center stage.  However, after the actions last week and last night, everything has changed regarding this feud.  The same can be said for Strowman’s character after last night.

Paul Heyman came out to address the Universal Championship situation at Crown Jewel that will now see Strowman battle Brock Lesnar for the vacant title.  Heyman eventually got to the point where he said Strowman isn’t in the same league as Lesnar, resulting in The Monster Among Men’s appearance.  He had a few choice words for Heyman that would eventually serve as a babyface turn.

He said he will win the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel and unlike Lesnar, he will be on Raw every week and be a fighting champion.  He also said even though he’s had his differences with Roman Reigns, once he comes back, he will be the first in line for a title shot.  After the brief promo, Strowman was attacked from behind by McIntyre with a Claymore kick.

The Monster Among Men felt like a generic heel since SummerSlam, but now with an apparent babyface return, things could get back to the way they used to be.
