WWE SmackDown Live: Results, Review, and Analysis for October 23rd
AWW SMACKDOWN! The New Day opens up SmackDown, exactly the kind of positivity we needed to start off the night! They go on about how The Bar, ahem, lowered the bar last week when they stole a win on interference from The Big Show.
The Bar arrives with Big Show in tow, and props go out to Sheamus who has enough ring (or ramp) awareness to sense he’s in Big Show’s shot and shuffles out of the way. That’s right, Sheamus, don’t think I didn’t notice!
Corey Graves said the most honest and not-heel thing to Saxton and Phillips; everyone complains that it’s not fair to the New Day that Big Show is in The Bar’s corner, but it’s three on three! Simple match people!
Big Show offers a giant choke slam to Kofi Kingston, and then goes for another, and then he goes for a third. Big Show is completely manhandling Kofi until New Day and The Bar charge the ring for a straight-up brawl between the two teams.
This to me may be a sign that Big Show may make his way onto the poster for this match at Crown Jewel. He maybe won’t be included in the match (because he’s not a member of The Bar, duh) but WWE is very seldom subtle with their intentions.
One last choke slam from Big Show punctuates the match emphatically.
