17. Alundra Blayze

To this day, Alundra Blayze vs. Bull Nakano at SummerSlam 1994 stands as one of the greatest women’s matches in history, and it has to be one of the most influential matches in WWE history. Watching Blayze take the fight right to the menacing Nakano was truly special, and Blayze’s strength, athleticism, and guile were on display here.

Those same traits surely haven’t left Blayze, whose appearance at Evolution will be her first in-ring action in 18 years. That makes her return one of the biggest storylines of the year, because it involves a Hall of Famer and one of the most important wrestlers in history making her return after nearly two decades away from the sport.

Many of us didn’t think this would ever happen, and I’ll bet that Blayze will make the absolute most of her time in the ring during the Evolution Battle Royal. The other wrestlers in the ring, especially members of the current roster, had better keep an eye out – or else they’ll feel the heat as they tumble over the top rope.

16. Ivory

Inducted into the Hall of Fame earlier this year, Ivory brings no shortage of intrigue to this battle royal as a dominant force who is a former three-time Women’s Champion in WWE and a former GLOW Champ.

Although Ivory has wrestled more recently than Blayze, she’s still making quite the comeback, having last wrestled in 2004 when she was defeated by Jillian Hall.

Ivory had a series of matches against Molly Holly before leaving WWE, so that could be something to watch for on Sunday. I hope she’s able to eliminate a couple of people and make some noise, but that might just be because I’m still struck by her heart-warming Hall of Fame speech in April.
