WWE Evolution 2018 Predictions: Who Leaves Evolution On Top?

Trish Stratus and Lita def. Alicia Fox and Mickie James w/ Alexa Bliss

I want to say this first – I wholly believe that if Alexa Bliss wasn’t injured and was still actively participating in this match tonight, Trish Stratus and Lita would not have won this match.

That’s not to speak for or against the talents of Alexa Bliss; it’s primarily just to speak to the fact that Alexa’s heel heat is really too hot to put out. What would have pissed people off more than having her beat their two favorite women’s wrestlers of all time at Evolution?

The fact that now, I think Trish and Lita are going to win because Alicia Fox is in the match doesn’t speak to the abilities of Alicia Fox either.

I believe the way the match stands now forces the hand of WWE to make this really a match about two of your favorite women ever proving the legitimacy of the women before the Women’s Revolution of now. I think now what WWE is left with is a match that best left to bolster the notion that the Women’s Revolution started a long time ago.

Given that this is the only match on that card that heavily focuses on the women of the Attitude Era, I think it’s valid that this match serves to celebrate Trish and Lita and their contributions to WWE.
