Becky Lynch retains the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte

If Becky Lynch loses the SmackDown Women’s Championship… why I oughta…

Becky Lynch’s heel turn, if we can call it that or not, and been the absolute best thing that’s happened to the SmackDown women’s division in a long time. Becky Lynch took a simple heel turn and made it practically into an empire.

Charlotte, additionally, is not as big of a babyface as WWE would need to validate the decision to make Becky drop her championship. The fact that #BooTheWoo came out of the woodwork in force in response to Becky’s turn further proves that.

Becky Lynch has been by-and-far the most must-see performer in all of WWE since SummerSlam. She quiet frankly is SmackDown Live right now. WWE would only be right to carry Becky through Evolution as just that.

I would additionally like to say, as a continuation from my slide on Asuka and the Battle Royal, that after this match WWE should cool of the Becky Lynch and Charlotte feud for a little bit. It for sure shouldn’t be completely over; that would just be bad booking. However, I think WWE needs to back off a little bit so that we don’t grow completely resentful of the repetition.
