I mean, this is the moment I’ve been waiting for. You should have heard the way I described Toni Storms victory over Meiko Satomura to N. Here’s a hint – it was horribly convoluted.
The match is even throughout, as have pretty much all the matches in all of the Mae Young Classic. Toni Storm throughout this match constantly has a look on her fact that says she’s confident, but has absolutely no idea how she got here.
Io Shirai gets about fifty-feet of air on the best moonsault I’ve ever seen? Maybe fifty-five. This is future of women’s wrestling. This is the match that I as a woman on this roster I would look forward to. This match is the fruits of their labor.
N is team Storm, and when Io kicks out of the Storm Zero, N is not happy. When Io hits the 619, though, hmm, maybe it’s another story.
Toni Storm hits another another Storm Zero to put Io away and win the Mae Young Classic. The expressions of Storm’s face is what this entire pay-per-view is about. Storm is elated, absolutely in disbelief that she just one in front of a full-fledged WWE audience.
Congratulations to both these women, who have nothing but great things ahead of them.
