WWE Evolution PPV 2018: Results, Review, and Analysis

This match is brutal from the start. Ronda flips Nikki twice, and then immediately gets behind to encouraging her to get up. Ronda is literally toying with Nikki, and quiet frankly (not like I wasn’t before) I’m on Team Nikki tonight.
Nikki uses a distraction by Brie to shove Ronda into the post. Even Brie gets a shove in on Ronda Rousey while the ref is distracted.
Nikki gets Ronda in a solid headlock and the begins tossing Ronda into the barricades. Nikki gets a leg-lock around Ronda’s neck, and then turns it around and starts doing her pushups. Ronda twists out of it however, and delivers a big kick to Nikki.
Nikki gains control outside the ring again through a cheap shot from Brie, and locks Ronda in an abdominal stretch in the middle of the ring. Ronda is having a hard time shaking Nikki until she finally tosses Nikki off.
Huge suplex attempt from Nikki on the top rope, which Ronda counters with a body slam, but no one’s home. Ronda rolls Nikki up on her shoulders, and when Brie tried to interfere, Ronda grabs her too and drops them.
Ronda goes in on the strikes in the corner, and then again with the flips. Ronda sends Brie flying into the announce table, and Nikki hits Ronda with the Alabama Slam. Nikki hits the Rack Attack 2.0, but Ronda kicks out.
Ronda of course sets Nikki up for the arm bar, locks it in and taps. Super shocked. However, Ronda sends a sweet nod to former Universal Champion Roman Reigns, wishing him well in his fight with leukemia.
This match was good though. It wasn’t the Last Women Standing match, but it really was good! Becky and Charlotte should have probably main-evented, but this match was good!
The pay-per-view as a whole… I’ll give a summation of my thoughts at a later date.
