WWE: Top Ten Most Popular Female Superstar Theme Songs
WWE is airing the first-ever, all women’s pay-per-view Evolution on Oct. 28. What better way to celebrate, than to jam out to the top ten most popular female superstar theme songs.
WWE recognizes that an entrance and theme song is an important part of a wrestler’s character, an important part of how wrestlers identify themselves. A great entrance theme can build momentum for a wrestler, and create an emotional reaction from fans. Not only does the song announce the athlete, but it sets the tone for the match.
Songwriting and production duo CFO$ create almost all of the theme songs for NXT and WWE talent, including all ten of those on this list.
Consisting of John Paul Alicastro and Michael Conrad Lauri, the duo has also worked with The Unlikely Candidates, Wolfgang Gartner, Rozes, Phillip Phillips, Goo Goo Dolls, Young Guns, Train, and Filter.
As the creative force behind the music of NXT and WWE, the team also created themes for WWE shows Swerved, The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness, Legends House, and Camp WWE. The pair have also appeared on an episode of Total Divas.
The focus of this ranking, however, is on the theme songs that play back-up to some of our favorite women wrestlers. WWE Evolution 2018 celebrates all that women have done to pave the path for female athletes. This top ten ranking celebrates the music that sticks with us even after the women have left the ring.
