WWE Raw: Results, Review, and Analysis for October 29th, 2018
LIo Rush is the only person who could get the crowd to boo for something more than they boo for Crown Jewel.
Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor have a match, and it’s the average fair from Finn Balor – that meaning, of course, oh my god, this man is the most agile and graceful man alive.
It’s amazing to me how much more elevated Lashley’s heat is with Lio Rush. I can no longer stand Lio Rush talking through the whole match whereas when this started weeks ago, I laughed all the way through.
The Finn Balor/Bobby Lashley feud reminds me of something that Impact would actually put together: an acrobatic, high-flyer of sorts against a solid powerhouse, and it somehow works really well together.
The match ultimately ends in a DQ when Lio Rush gets involved and knocks Finn off of the ropes. Wonderful heel move from Lio Rush. The bell doesn’t stop Lashley however, and he tears into Finn inside and outside of the ring.
Lio is slapping Finn over and over in the face with Lashley holds Finn in a full-nelson, and Finn is totally out. I’m happy that Bobby Lashley has seemingly found his place as a real heel’s heel.
