WWE has booked themselves a spectacular showdown at Survivor Series between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lycnh, but they’ll also face a challenge: making sure Ronda and Becky don’t lose momentum heading towards the Road to WrestleMania.

The announcement of Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch for Survivor Series shook the internet wrestling community to its core. On one hand you have The Baddest Woman on the Planet and someone Vince McMahon considers one of, if not, THE biggest draw in the company.

On the other hand you have arguably the most popular female superstar in the entire world. So now begs the question, how do you structure a match between these two so that neither of them look weak or question the legitimacy of the championship of their respected brands?

Booking Rousey vs Lynch is going to be a huge test for the WWE creative team. I mean, how could you possibly have either of them lose with the massive amount of momentum both of them currently have? As we all know, Survivor Series is the last big pay per view of 2018, and it is the only show of the year to determine brand supremacy between Raw and Smackdown Live. So who should win?

In my opinion, this match would have to end in some sort of disqualification. I say that because, at this moment, both women are basically untouchable. We have Becky Lynch who has embraced this anti-establishment, anti-authority, rebellious, disrespectful attitude that has caught on like wildfire!

Each and every arena she steps foot into showers her with cheers and support making her one of, if not, the most over superstar in the company.  Having her lose clean to Rousey would be a step backward in the progression of her character and certainly put a damper on this incredible run she has been on since Summerslam.

Next, we have Ronda Rousey. International mega-star, UFC Hall of Famer, legitimate fighting machine and undefeated Raw Women’s Champion. Similar to Lynch, Rousey is loved by fans all throughout the world and receives an overwhelming amount of support wherever she goes.

We all know that WWE is planning something big for Rousey at WrestleMania, whether its pitting her against Charlotte Flair or another installment of her vs Becky Lynch. So why have her lose her undefeated streak at Survivor Series?

If it was up to me I would use this match as a way to set up the next opponents for each women’s respected championship. For example, I would have Rousey and Lynch wrestle for around 15 minutes or so with a few false finishes to keep the fans on the edge of their seats.

Then I would have someone like Sasha Banks or Ruby Riott run in and attack Rousey and cost her the match setting up whoever her next opponent may be for the Royal Rumble in Arizona. After the dust settles and Lynch is standing at the top of the ramp, I would have her next opponent, Asuka for example, walk out and get in a stare down or even attack Lynch to kick start that storyline.

However this match plays out, I think all of us are in for a treat. I mean, how many of us ever thought we would get to see Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch in a Champion vs Champion match in a WWE ring?
