WWE: 3 Possible Challengers For AJ Styles After Survivor Series

1. The Miz

For as great as The Miz has been over the past couple of years, in particular, it’s almost shocking to think he hasn’t been involved in the world title picture.  That can all change very soon, however, with The A-Lister positioned to make a run at the WWE Championship again.

The Miz won the WWE Championship in late-2010 when he cashed in Money in the Bank on Randy Orton and held the title until Extreme Rules 2011.  But since then, he hasn’t tasted world title gold despite arguably the best work of his career in recent years.  The seemingly perfect opponent for Miz’s return to the WWE Championship picture is lined up perfectly as well.

AJ Styles has had brief encounters with The Miz in recent months, but an all-out feud between Styles and Miz for the WWE Championship would be perfect across the board.  It would return The A-Lister back to a world title level and it would give The Phenomenal One a great heel to go against in the process.

This feud makes all the sense in the world and the timing seems perfect for it to finally take shape.  The Miz has been on a huge roll lately and it would be a shame for that roll to end without getting a shot at regaining the WWE Championship for the first time in nearly eight years.  After Survivor Series, there’s no reason why this feud doesn’t get a shot.

Timing is everything in the WWE and the timing seems perfect for a Styles vs. Miz feud for the richest prize in the game.
