2. Lars Sullivan
If WWE NXT is looking to make a big deal out of Matt Riddle, Lars Sullivan would be a great pick for Riddle’s first feud. Sullivan is a big, bad man who is also intelligent beyond belief, and he has proved himself as a huge threat to anybody who gets in the ring with him. He had a great match against Kassius Ohno to get his start, and I believe he and Riddle would have a great match for Riddle’s first big TakeOver outing.
Lars is still looking to make a huge impact in NXT, but his time will come soon enough. However, at this very moment, if Lars put over Matt Riddle, it would be a huge start to The King of Bros’ NXT run. They could have a lengthy feud that had both men get respective wins. Have it run around WrestleMania weekend, and they could be a huge part of NXT’s influence.
I believe these two could have a great story in the ring. With the size and technique differences between them, I would like to see how Riddle and Sullivan would go into a match with each other. Riddle would be pushed to cut Lars down to size, while Lars hasn’t fought somebody as quick and vicious as the former EVOLVE champion.
