1. AJ Styles

See? I told you so.

Realistically, even if this isn’t you, there is probably a very large percentage of WWE viewers who consider this a “dream match” even only by virtue that it for sure could have been a dream match for TNA/Impact. Go ahead and count me in as one of those people.

However, this feud has the potential to grow way beyond a sense of nostalgia. AJ Styles has established himself as the be-all and end-all of babyfaces on WWE programming. He’s a hard-worker, a family man, and an all-around great performer.

He’s the face of the SmackDown brand right now, and rightfully so, as he’s become the pinnacle of role-models for all member of the WWE Universe.

It’s not to say EC3 is unlike Styles in all those ways. EC3 as I’ve said has had a wonderfully successful career over multiple brands.

Perhaps there’s a jealousy angle involved? Perhaps the two start off as allies, an impromptu tag team that actually goes on to work really well together a la Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. However, EC3’s resentment that AJ Styles found success way greater than he ever did may eventually take over and lead to, again, a dream match for one Chelsea Marcus.
