3. Charlotte has a singles match… and loses.

A lot of people were stunned (okay maybe not a lot, but) when Charlotte Flair ultimately lost the Last Woman Standing match she had with SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at WWE Evolution by being this close to getting to her feet by time the ref finished the ten-count.

No one was more stunned, however, than Charlotte herself, and now, no one is more disheartened by the loss than Charlotte herself. She was put out of sorts, in fact, that when GM Paige asked Charlotte to be the captain of the SmackDown women’s team at Survivor Series, Charlotte said she didn’t think she was the right woman for the job.

Now, don’t be mistaken – I’m sure Charlotte absolutely will be the captain of Team Lady SmackDown come Survivor Series, but I don’t think this coming week will be easy for her.

Seeing as Becky Lynch is now focused on her feud with Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey for Survivor Series, Charlotte is going to have to focus on something else this week, which will likely be a thrown-together match with a heel tonight on SmackDown. My personal guess is one of the IIconics, who will likely have no problem laughing at Charlotte’s loss to her face and getting inside of her head.

Charlotte still won’t prove to be the good ole’ resilient Charlotte we know and love, and she’ll lose, furthering the notion in her own mind that she isn’t good enough to represent SmackDown.

Later in the show, I’m sure, GM Paige will appear backstage with Charlotte giving her one last inspiring pep talk to Charlotte about not let the doubting thoughts get the best of her.
