Impact Wrestling Results, Review, and Analysis for Final Hour

The hometown boys kick off the show, and The OGz, Homicide and Hernandez, make their way out to the ring with King. King has such a swagger about him that’s untouchable, and it truly reads like he always knows something you don’t or he’s one step ahead of you.
Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. come out hot, with Rey scaling the ropes and walking them like a tightrope. The men are slapping each other’s pointed fingers away before the bell even rings.
Homicide tries to take a fork to somebody’s forehead pretty early in the game; that’s what kind of action we’ve got here tonight. Homicide takes Pentagon out on to the ramp while Hernandez works Fenix inside the ring.
Fenix starts off as the obvious standout during the match, taking a huge dive out onto The OGZ with King, but he’s answer pretty quickly by Hernandez and a huge dive of his own.
Feel free to disagree, but when people start speaking a different language during a match (Spanish in the case), it adds such a layer on passion and seriousness to the match. It shows immediacy, and in wrestling, immediacy translates to fast-paced and frenzied, which is good television.
After a Swanton and a stomp from Fenix and Pentagon, respectively, The Luchas grab the win. It was the right move, but you have to wonder what’s next for The OGz. Back to LAX? Who knows?
Konnan and LAX meet up with the Luchas after the match to show respect. After the Luchas are off, Konnan makes a note to say the celebrate of LAX’s victory in the BFG war is still going strong.
