Yep, just like clockwork, we’re back at RockStar Pro Wrestling in Dayton, Ohio, where Bryan Cage is ready to drag Sami Callihan into the ring for an impromptu X Division Championship match.

Brian Cage wastes absolutely no time laying into Callihan in the corner. Don Callis is quick to point out that there’s no chance that this crowd could ever get behind Cage because the Ohio wrestling scene is essentially one big cult, all following behind Callihan. He’s proving to be right, because the “OVE!” chants have not stooped yet.

The match is everywhere; it wasn’t stipulated that this would be any kind of NO DQ, No Countout, etc., but Cage and Callihan are taking this fight anywhere they can. Jake and Dave Crist are getting involved over they can, which included receiving a tandem German Suplex from Cage.

Out of nowhere, Cage takes out what looks like everyone else in the back at RockStar Pro. Yeah, I guess Ohio is one big family after all. Cage is also using Germans and F5s; do I smell some Lesnar comparisons coming? Yep. Should I? It’s Brian Cage we’re talking about. Put this man over anyone.

Brian Cage is getting trampled by everyone in this company; he’s getting stomped, tossed, and he takes a huge piledriver from Callihan as the crowd cheers along. The match essentially doesn’t end. Sami Callihan grabs the championship belt and chants with it, leaving Cage in a heap in the ring.

So, I guess you can’t really call this an honest “championship” match since the X Division Championship was clearly not the important factor in all this. Cage is bound to come back absolutely livid though, so the notion that this may be just the beginning is amazing.
