Daniel Bryan Vs The Miz: WWE Championship
While the WWE has somewhat gone cold on this in recent months, the feud between The Miz and Daniel Bryan is the one most likely to be SmackDown’s biggest match-up in New Jersey.
The two men put on a series of solid matches over the summer, and the WWE is likely to want to up the ante a little on the grandest stage of them all by also including the WWE Championship in the mix.
AJ Styles has now held the belt for over a year and the expectation is that he will drop the belt, most likely to The Miz before WrestleMania rolls around.
Obviously, the WWE could also run this match without the involvement of the WWE title but given that we have already seen this match take place on two separate PPVs already, the title will help shift the feud forward a gear or two.
Bryan’s inevitable victory and subsequent title celebration will also give the fans at the MetLife plenty to celebrate on the night as well.

Randy Orton Vs Batista
Recent booking would have suggested that the original plan for WrestleMania was to have Batista square off with Triple H in what would have been one of the night’s biggest match.
Unfortunately, for both the WWE and Triple H, the Cerebral Assassin suffered a serious injury whilst competing at Crown Jewel and it now looks as though he will not be able to compete on the grandest stage of them all next April.
If that is the case, and it looks as though it will be, then Randy Orton may turn out to be the next best option to take on his former Evolution team-mate.
Like Triple H, Orton has plenty of history with Batista and the WWE could easily lean on that to help build this match-up.
Orton is also on a bit of a role at the moment, excelling as one of SmackDown’s top heel performers, and this could really help get Batista over with the crowd.
Of course, this match was also scheduled to main-event WrestleMania 30 before the crowd hijacked proceedings and forced the WWE to put Daniel Bryan in the match as well, so the WWE clearly has faith in it as a draw for the event.
