WWE Cruiserweight Championship – Mustafa Ali vs Buddy Murphy

Buddy Murphy will have his first big defense since winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. He faces one of 205 Live’s most popular superstars in Mustafa Ali. Ali continues his mission to get his hands on the championship. Mustafa has come close in the past, but keeps falling just short of the win. He has had great matches against the former champion, Cedric Alexander. The crowds have gotten behind Ali due to his talent and unique charisma.

Buddy Murphy has had a long journey to the spot he is in today. At one point, some were expecting that he would be on the cutting block to be released. Now, he is one of the top talents in 205 Live. He has shown that he is a true talent and has kickstarted his career. When Murphy won the Cruiserweight Championship in his home country, I admittedly marked out. It was certainly a feel-good moment to kick off this reign.

Both of these guys are great choices to represent the brand. I expect a great back and forth match. But when it is all said and done, I see the champion picking up the victory in this match. Ali is a great selection to take the title off of Murphy, but I believe that it is far too soon. I expect Buddy Murphy to have a decent run as champion before dropping it.
