Mustafa Ali is one of the most exciting performers on 205 Live, and in all of WWE. Buddy Murphy is no longer The Best Kept Secret, but rather the Cruiserweight Champion. The two will face off at Survivor Series, and while Ali should walk away the new champ, it looks like Murphy’s reign will continue.

As WWE continues to march towards Survivor Series next weekend, the “Battle for Brand Supremacy” is the main talking point. Which superstars will secure a victory for their roster — Raw or SmackDown? In fact, the eight-match card features seven cross-brand clashes: Four champion vs. champion bouts, and three elimination tag matches pitting the best of the rest against one another.

But lost in all of that is the eighth match, and it could be a sleeper for match of the night. The Heart of 205 Live, Mustafa Ali, will again challenge for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. His opponent this time around is reigning champ Buddy Murphy. There’s plenty of history between the two cruiserweight standouts, which should lead to a terrific match in Los Angeles.

When looking at the possible outcomes of the match, there’s many signs pointing to a victory by Ali. Still, one can’t help but think that Murphy, who’s only just beginning his reign as champion, is ultimately going to walk out of the Staples Center the same way he entered: with a big hunk of gold around his waist.

So let’s examine the evidence here, and look at just why Mustafa Ali should win the Cruiserweight Championship, but why Buddy Murphy will win the match at Survivor Series.
