1. Daniel Bryan’s WWE Championship Win And Heel Turn

Just when you thought the Becky Lynch injury would be the biggest news heading into Survivor Series, the WWE decided to shock everyone even further.  When Daniel Bryan received a WWE Championship rematch against AJ Styles this past Tuesday night, it just felt like something big was going to happen.

Styles defeated Bryan in a great match a couple of weeks ago to retain his WWE Championship, but he wouldn’t be so lucky this time around.  For the first time since 2014, Bryan captured the WWE Championship by defeating The Phenomenal One in the most surprising way possible, a heel turn.  Bryan used a low blow to gain the upper hand over Styles and that low blow ended up leading to the eventual win.

Bryan wasn’t finished there however, and he attacked Styles after the match was over.  Instead of Survivor Series seeing Styles vs. Universal Champion Brock Lesnar for the second straight year, it will now be Bryan vs. Lesnar in a match nobody saw coming a week ago.  Does Bryan have a chance against The Beast Incarnate?

With his recent heel turn, Bryan has proven he is capable of doing whatever it takes to win, and that newfound attitude could go a long way against Lesnar.  The size and strength advantage will be largely in the favor of the Universal Champion, but the new WWE Champion is in a different position than he has been in for several years as a heel.
