Welcome… to the War Games.

Adam Cole will be out first for the Undisputed Era, and Ricochet will be out first for Team Over It. Ricochet creeps into the second ring where Cole jumps him. Ricochet then completely controls the offense going further. Cole starts raking Ricochet’s face against the cage, until Ricochet lands some big drop kicks to Cole. Ricochet hits a springboard European uppercut before the count down begins to let a new person in.

It’s Kyle O’Reilly, and he soars in and starts throwing dozens of strikes to Ricochet’s torso. O’Reilly and Cole take turns attacking Ricochet’s legs, namely his knees.

Next comes Hanson, and Cole and O’Reilly immediately mob him when he isn’t even fully in the ring yet. Hanson’s doing cartwheels and landing clotheslines all over; this guy came to play. This is War Games, after all. Hanson lands a huge Bronco Buster on O’Reilly and Cole in the corner.

Ricochet lands a shooting-star press off the back of Hanson. This looks like fun to them. Is that sick, or pretty awesome?

Cole and O’Reilly are finally able to overpower Hanson. Ricochet breaks Cole off from the group and hits him with a few chops.

Next in the ring is Roderick Strong, and he runs right into Ricochet like a speeding bullet. He goes back and forth between corners landing step-up knee strikes on Ricochet and Hanson. The three members of UE are definitely taking advantage of the numbers game once more.

Next is Rowe, and Strong is there to meet him at the door. Rowe begins mowing through everyone, as the new men has traditionally done each time. War Raiders are ready to go, and they start using plenty of tandem offense, most notably to pick up Adam Cole and drive him into the cage face-first.

Here comes Bobby Fish, and he takes the key to immediately lock Pete Dunne in the cage permanently! He’s taking the key and throwing it into the audience! You have to hand it to Bobby Fish – he’s got to be rip-roarin’ ready to go after coming back from his injury.

UE may now have an advantage on this match for it’s entirety… but can they win if the match hasn’t officially begun?

The countdown begins to let Pete in, and they’re of course having a hard time getting him out of the cage.

Cole begins climbing the cage to shout at Dunne while Strong and Fish are dishing out suplexes. The refs are here with bolt cutters, and Dunne is finally free! Dunne grabs a kendo stick from under the ring, anything he can throw inside before the match officially begins.

That’s it – the match is now officially on. Team War Paint has UE cowering in the ring as they attack with kendo sticks. Dunne goes for his finger lock on O’Reilly, first in between the rings, and then he finally chooses one to inflict his pain in.

It’s hard to give you a play-by-play at this point, because there can be eight plays going on at once now, but holy crap, is the War Games match hectic. Kyle O’Reilly has Pete Dunne wrapped up in a chain for an ankle lock, and UE is fending off the rest of Team Resistance in the other ring like a bunch of jackals.

Bobby Fish absolutely nailed Ray Rowe, spearing him through an elevated table. Adam Cole has Ricochet in a corner, trying to suplex him through a table, but Ricochet weasels out and lets a step up kick right on Adam’s bee-hind before he lands some strikes to O’Reilly on said table.

O’Reilly gets Ricochet in an arm lock on the table that Hanson counters with a huge splash right though. Hanson tries for the pin, but Strong hits him in the back with a garbage can.

Adam Cole begins to leave the cage, but Ricohet meets him up top. The two begin trading strikes on top of the cage, and Strong scales up to try to push Ricochet off the cage. Sooner or later, practically everyone is on top of the cage, and Hanson suplexes everyone off the cage. What. A. Spot.

Ricochet is still up top, though! He’s looking down at everyone, and oh my God, he’s going to shooting star press. Yep, he did it. Right off the top of the cage. Mamma effin’ Mia indeed, Mauro!

Both teams retreat into separate rings. They meet in the middle to furious “NXT” chants, and then the fists start flying.

After a Bitter End from Dunne and a flying 450 splash from Ricochet, Team War Games gets the huge win of Undisputed Era.

What a pay-per-view, everyone. Non-stop, nail-biting action in another excellent showing from the yellow brand.
