WWE Survivor Series 2018: Full Match Card, How to Watch

Need a refresher on what matches are on the WWE Survivor Series 2018 card? Can’t remember how to watch the show? We’ve got you covered here at Daily DDT.

It’s finally time for pro wrestling’s greatest Thanksgiving tradition. Well, besides the Gobbledy Gooker, at least. WWE Survivor Series 2018 is upon us.

For the third consecutive year, Survivor Series is all about the battle for brand supremacy. The superstars from both Raw and SmackDown are pitted against one another for a once-a-year event — if you don’t count the Royal Rumble, or the WrestleMania Battle Royals, or the World Cup, or any other time paths cross.

Four of the matches on the Survivor Series card are of the Champion vs. Champion variety (well, mostly). Each brand’s world champion, women’s champion, tag team champs, will go up against their counterpart, except where injury has thrown a wrench into the plans. (Can’t wait for Becky Lynch to be healed and ready to go again!)

Additionally, the Intercontinental Champion goes up against the United States Champion in the fourth battle between the titleholders. (Sorry, but calling those “mid-card” titles or “secondary” championships sounds disingenuous to me.)

But the big draw of a Survivor Series event is always the namesake match, a signature of the theme of the show. This year, the WWE Universe is being treated to a trio of Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Matches. No one fall here: the match continues until one team has been defeated one by one.

Each of the three Survivor Series matches again pits Raw against SmackDown this year. There’s a match for the tag teams, a match for the men, and a match for the women. Will we have any sole survivors this year?

Oh, and there’s actually a single match on the show that isn’t about brand supremacy. 205 Live is throwing out the best they have to offer with a much-anticipated match for the Cruiserweight Championship.

Okay, that’s enough hype from me for now. Everyone wants to know, what does the actual card look like? Per WWE.com, here’s the official WWE Survivor Series 2018 lineup:

"Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion Daniel BryanRaw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte FlairIntercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs. United States Champion Shinsuke NakamuraWomen’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination MatchTeam Raw (Natalya, Nia Jax, Tamina, Mickie James, & Ruby Riott) vs. Team SmackDown (Asuka, Naomi, Carmella, Sonya DeVille, & TBA)Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination MatchTeam Raw (Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Finn Bálor, & Bobby Lashley) vs. Team SmackDown (The Miz, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, & “Best in the World” Shane McMahon)Cruiserweight Championship MatchBuddy Murphy (c) vs. Mustafa AliRaw Tag Team Champions AoP vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar (w/ Big Show)10-on-10 Tag Team Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match (Kickoff Match)Team Raw (Chad Gable & Bobby Roode, B-Team, Lucha House Party, The Ascension, & The Revival) vs. Team SmackDown (The Usos, New Day, Gallows & Anderson, The Colons, & SAnitY)"

We’ve already ranked these matches based on expected quality, so you know what we’re excited to see. (Brock vs. Bryan! Charlotte vs. Ronda!) Only time will tell if the matches will all live up to the hype.

But how can you watch the show? WWE Survivor Series 2018 takes place in Los Angeles, CA, at the Staples Center on Sunday, Nov. 18. If you can’t be there, catch the show on the WWE Network with a start time of 7 p.m. ET.

Before Survivor Series proper gets under way, we have the Kickoff Show, featuring the 10-on-10 Tag Team Survivor Series Match. The Kickoff Show begins at 5 p.m. ET on the WWE Network.
