Becky Lynch ushers Charlotte towards the dark side.

Charlotte only had five days to prepare for her sudden match against The Baddest Woman on The Planet, Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, but if she did have a plan, it went out the window pretty quickly.

Some good ole’ heel Charlotte managed to rear its head at the end of her match with Rousey, as Charlotte suddenly grabbed a kendo stick, disqualifying herself and absolutely pummeling Rousey.

It wasn’t the win Team SmackDown needed desperately at that point, but I bet you a certain The Man will still have some positive things to say about it. I imagine that Charlotte will either be in the ring or backstage to be asked about why she did what she did to Rousey, and Becky Lynch will appear suddenly to reflect on what she was impressed with.

Bonus Points if Becky’s the one who’s interviewed first, and it’s for Miz TV promoting the Marine 6.

Either way, it won’t be enough for Becky and Charlotte to all of a sudden become this great heel tandem, but it will be enough to definitely reinforce that Charlotte did indeed turn heel last night. If Charlotte thanks Becky with no other verbal jabs, and the two just shake hands and part ways, Charlotte really did turn heel.

Whether or not this stays the case, I’m not sure. While Charlotte could appreciate Becky’s “kind” words, I can also see this snapping her out of whatever got into her last night, and Charlotte could realize that isn’t the way she wants to conduct herself.
