#2: Drew McIntyre

If I were to draw up the blueprints for a superstar who could run the Royal Rumble match and set a record number of eliminations, I would end up with Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre is arguably the most physical imposing man on the WWE roster. He has all the size, strength, and speed to not only win the Royal Rumble, but to go on to WrestleMania to challenge the WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

McIntyre is one of the most compelling opponents for Brock Lesnar to square off against at this point. He matches Lesnar on all the physical attributes, making him appear as a true threat to The Beast.

If, for some monstrous reason, Lesnar isn’t the Universal Champion come WrestleMania, then McIntyre would similarly be the perfect opponent for Braun Strowman to face at the show. A Strowman versus McIntyre 1-on-1 match has been brewing for some time now, meaning fans would likely be chomping at the bit to see the two face off in the ring come WrestleMania.

I think its very clear that McIntyre would right now be the favorite choice, along with the best choice, from the Raw roster to win the Royal Rumble.

However, that means there’s one person left who tends to make his presence known on the SmackDown roster who might just be the best, and most surprising, choice to win the 2019 Royal Rumble match.
