The State Of The State

The Miz begs for the Shane McMahon “Shuffle” to open Miz TV, but Shane is in no mood after being beat up at Survivor Series. For some reason, Miz sucks up to him and proclaims himself a “Shane stan”, doing his best to encourage Shane despite the horrible result.

Miz gathers himself nervously before turning to Shane, asking the commissioner if he’d be willing to team up with him as a tag team.

Wait…what?

Shane McMahon and The Miz as a tag team? Well…uh…that’s interesting! And they’ve even got two jobbers from Los Angeles to take on!

The Miz and Shane McMahon vs. Local Talent

It doesn’t even seem like Shane can compete at all, as he’s dressed in his jeans and can barely even duck in between the ropes or walk…let alone shine in tag competition. But against opponents like those, it might not matter.

Miz begins the match by destroying the midsection of his horrendous opponent, as he brags to Shane who is, God bless, pretending to be impressed by Miz’s antics.

So, uh, remember how I said “opponents like those”?

Well, all of Miz’s bragging ended up backfiring, because…wait for it…wait for it……….

He. Lost.

By surprise roll-up.

To the jobber.

And Shane McMahon laughed.

And I did, too.

Welcome to SmackDown Live, where anything can happen.

Rating: Good. This was kind of dumb, but it was hilarious. And you know what? If it makes me laugh, it gets a “good” rating. That’s how simple sports entertainment is sometimes.
