3. The New Day vs. The Bar And The Big Show

The New Day has never found a gimmick match it didn’t like, so what better team to compete in a Thanksgiving-themed match than this colorful trio?  Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods were feeling festive last night when they competed in a Thanksgiving Feast FIght against a few thorns in their side as of late.

The Bar and The Big Show have been going against The New Day for several weeks now, but last night was a completely different challenge.  Things started out as just a regular match, and a good one at that.  It felt like a real match for a while, but things quickly changed when The Big Show fell off of the apron through a table on the floor covered with Thanksgiving trimmings.

Food remained a factor from that point when everything from turkey to pie to cranberries were involved.  This was an entertaining match that got more entertaining as it went along, but The New Day made sure to not let this opportunity go to waste and after Big E hit Sheamus with a turkey to get the win.

Cesaro tried to get back at The New Day after the match, but he wound up taking an immense amount of punishment via Thanksgiving food.  Most of these gimmick matches like this aren’t that good, but this one was very enjoyable.  It was a real match for a while too, which helped things out.  It was laid out nicely and worked effectively.

New Day rocks, but Thanksgiving was rocking last night as well with The Bar and Big Show feeling the brunt of it.

Final Grade: B+
