5. Will Braun Strowman be able to compete at TLC? If not, what will become of his potential match with Lesnar?

As we found out this week, Strowman will face Baron Corbin in a TLC match at the upcoming PPV. If the Monster Among Men can defeat the acting general manager, he will then get a rematch for the WWE Universal title against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.

However, if he loses, Strowman will not get a title opportunity. On the flip side, if Corbin loses, he will lose all authority powers as well, but, if he wins, the Lonewolf will become the permanent GM on Monday nights.

Judging by the swiveling nature of creative team, this match can go either way. Following the announcement, a match was booked pitting Strowman, Balor and Elias against Corbin, McIntyre and Lashley. It was a setup to say the least, as the heel trio ganged up on Strowman after his partners were eliminated.

The WWE has released a statement about Strowman after the events of Monday nights. Apparently, the Monster Among Men has a shattered elbow and he will need surgery. At this moment, it is not known if he will be cleared to compete in time for TLC. Dave Meltzer mentioned in the Wrestling Observer Radio that Strowman is dealing with bone spurs and has been working with a legitimate injury. Will he be able to make a timely return before TLC?

What could happen if Strowman is unable to compete at the PPV? Will Corbin win via forfeit? What becomes of his GM status and Strowman’s Universal title shot then? There questions need some serious answers at the earliest.
