3. Where is the Miz headed to?
The Miz is perhaps one of the most versatile performers in the WWE at the moment. Need a quality villain who can make the boos rain down on a segment? You got the Miz. Need someone to make the babyface look good? Call out the Miz. Need a talker to make the fans sympathize with a random babyface? Put him in a segment with the Miz. Need to have a quality match with any babyface on the roster? Just pair him up with the Miz.
It is sad to see what the creative team has been doing with him for so long. The Hollywood A-Lister has been wandering around the mid-card in title and non-title feuds for so long while he should be in the WWE title picture. This week was no different either. While still partly stuck in his heel persona, the Miz tried to get on the good side on Shane McMahon, only to end up losing embarrassingly to a couple of jobbers.
I’m sure creative is working on an angle with the Miz and Shane McMahon, but the truth is, he deserves something much better and bigger. He should be in the main event on PPVs at this point in his career. It is high time creative rewarded the man for all the work he has put in to become the reliable performer he is today.
Now that Daniel Bryan is officially a heel, this would be an ideal time for a babyface run for the Miz as well. Can we see these two long-term rivals lock horns for the title at the Grandest Stage of them all, with their roles reversed for once?
