1. Who exactly is the ‘new’ Daniel Bryan?

Daniel Bryan came out this week to address the fans and give an explanation for this actions from the past week. While what unfolded can’t exactly be said to be an explanation of any sorts, it was intriguing to say the least. Bryan would begin talking in first person, almost directing his entire promo towards himself. He would talk is a slow and controlled pace, with little emotion but a lot of conviction.

This was creepy and cool in a weird way. But what this has done is set the tone for Bryan’s heel character and establish a backstory. The promo also made sure to include Bryan’s match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. Bryan mentioned he allowed Lesnar to beat the weakness out of him.

Bryan would insist that the ring announcer reintroduce him as the ‘New’ Daniel Bryan. So what does this mean going forward? The ‘Yes’ movement is dead. So what happens to the Yes lock and the Yes kicks now on? What will the Miz do from now on, if he wants to mock Daniel Bryan? Will they be simply be referred to as the ‘New’ lock and the ‘New’ kicks? Will Bryan debut a new finisher somehow? We’ll have to wait and see.
