2. Corbin, Lashley, And McIntyre Are Punished For Shattering Strowman’s Elbow

After successfully destroying Braun Strowman last week, it won’t be a surprise if Raw starts with Baron Corbin and his new partners gloating about their heinous attack.

This will likely draw the ire of Corbin’s boss, Stephanie McMahon, who may surprisingly have some justice to dole out to the three superstars.

While McMahons usually support such actions when it favors them, I have a hard time believing Stephanie McMahon will be too happy with Corbin and his goons potentially putting one of her top stars on the injured reserve list.

As such, I expect McMahon to make some unfavorable matches for the three heels to compete in throughout Raw.

For starters, I think we’ve already seen the beginning of this angle with Bobby Lashley announced to take on Elias this week. Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if that match even gets a stipulation added to it in order to emphasize the punishment angle while also allowing for a timely, and legal, Lio Rush interference on behalf of Lashley.

Next, I’m thinking we will get yet another installment of the seemingly never-ending series of matches between Baron Corbin and Finn Balor.

Finally, I’m expecting Drew McIntyre will have to face Seth Rollins for this week’s main event match.

I picked these two matches at being most likely to occur, on top of the already announced Lashley match, due to the fact that all 3 matches will then, in some way, continue withstanding sub-rivalries which may ultimately come in to play later either at TLC or Royal Rumble.

When it’s all said and done, I would ultimately bet Corbin and his two partners-in-crime come out victorious in their bouts. They all likely need to be protected on the road to TLC given the current status of their respective pushes, and chicanery can easily be the cause of each of their wins in order to keep the faces looking strong.

I suspect this will especially be the case when Drew McIntyre defeats Seth Rollins.

An interference from Dean Ambrose that costs Rollins the likely main event match would be the perfect way to continue the hot feud those two are currently having, without necessarily raising the stakes or putting a stipulation to their TLC match just yet.

While Ambrose versus Rollins will have to remain without a stipulation for now, I do expect one of TLC’s premier matches to receive a stipulation this week.
