Nina Samuels Must Defend Title At SHEvivor Series Against Charlie Morgan, Kay Lee Ray
At Pro Wrestling: EVE’s upcoming SHEvivor Series show, Nina Samuels must defend the Pro Wrestling: EVE Championship against Charlie Morgan and Kay Lee Ray in a Triple Threat match.
Nina Samuels recently signed with WWE NXT UK, taking her talents to the world’s biggest wrestling promotion. It’s been a long time coming for Samuels, who blossomed as one of the best heels in pro wrestling as a member of the Pro Wrestling: EVE roster, taking 2018 by a storm befor ultimately joining WWE.
At the SHE-1 Series earlier this month, Samuels grabbed her moment in the sun by cashing in the Wild Card briefcase to crash the show’s main event, ending Charlie Morgan’s Pro Wrestling: EVE Championship reign at a cool 190 days.
Samuels interrupted a dream match between Morgan and Kay Lee Ray, who had been playing mindgames for months, including at Global Women Strike in a tag team match.
Both women will get their shot at revenge against the contemptible Samuels soon, because Pro Wrestling: EVE announced on Twitter that Samuels must defend the championship in a Triple Threat match against Morgan and KLR at SHEvivor Series on Dec. 8.
SHEvivor Series is already shaping up to be quite the show, with a first-time ever dream match between Toni Storm and Jordynne Grace already booked. Storm and Grace could easily steal the show, given that they are two of the best wrestlers on this planet, particularly from an athletic standpoint. However, the dynamic with Samuels, KLR, and Morgan will be hard to top, as all three women have a reason to want to tear each other’s heads off, beyond the fact that the prestigious Pro Wrestling: EVE Championship is on the line.
I make sure to mention how important this title is, because the way Morgan won it months ago at the acclaimed Wrestle Queendom show, which was one of the best wrestling shows in any promotion this year, was incredibly heart-warming.
Morgan fought through so much to get back at Sammii Jayne and finally win the title from EVE’s top heel, and it was truly incredible to see the crowd behind her, especially with the way they received her as their champion. An inspirational figure in wrestling, Morgan put her body on the line with some insane moves in that championship victory, and she’ll surely do the same on Dec. 8 against the detestable champion Samuels and the impossibly gifted Kay Lee Ray.

SHEvivor Series will presumably be available as a Pay Per View on FITE.TV, and it will be uploaded for subscribers to EVE’s official streaming service, which costs $9.99 a month and comes with a free, seven-day trial.
