1. Shatter Machine (The Revival)
Say yeah: There is no cooperative maneuver in WWE more impressive, more devastating, more bulletproof than the Shatter Machine. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have perfected it to the point where it’s going to be an iconic move like the Doomsday Device.
The first ever two time NXT Tag Team Champions have struggled to gain consistency and success since joining the Raw roster in April 2017. Injuries, bad luck, and an apparent creative disinterest in the tag division have all conspired to frustrate fans of the Top Guys.
But once they hit that Shatter Machine, hoo boy, you remember just why they were at one time in serious discussion to be considered the best tag team in the world — not WWE, the world. Their main “competition” for that title, The Young Bucks, even began half-jokingly using the hashtag “#FTR” to state their feelings on the matter.
The best thing about the Shatter Machine is that it can really be hit on any opponent, the sign of a truly great finisher. Dawson has the tougher job, lifting the recipient up for a flapjack, while Dash gets to hit a Codebreaker. But the right leverage can get even someone like Big Show up for this move.
With all of the tandem moves out there, the Shatter Machine topping the list is only fitting for the Top Guys. As we inch closer to another year, maybe 2019 will be the year that everything finally falls into place, and The Revival will have extended success.
