5. Super Collider (AOP)

Since arriving on the main roster, Akam and Rezar have lost their original manager Paul Ellering, their full name of “Authors of Pain,” and any momentum they had built up during their tenure in NXT. But they are in their first reign as Raw Tag Team Champions at the moment, and with new manager Drake Maverick guiding them it looks like there’s sunny skies ahead.

One thing AOP have always had going for them, though, is sheer brute force that is unmatched by most other tag teams in all of WWE. The best example of this amazing strength advantage is from one of their signature moves, the Super Collider.

While Akam and Rezar still tend to use the Last Chapter as their primary finishing maneuver, it’s not nearly as physically impressive as the Super Collider. Plus, without being referred to as the “Authors of Pain,” a literary theme for a finisher name is kind of silly.

The Super Collider is simple: both members of AOP pick up one of their opponents for a powerbomb, Before slamming them to the mat with an insane amount of force, they smash their victims’ backs together. It’s almost like Akam and Rezar are clinking their glasses at the end of a toast, but instead of slugging back champagne they break the bones of their opponents.

It may not always be the most legal maneuver — obeying the referee’s five count makes pulling the move off require some pretty slow counting. But the Super Collider is one of WWE’s most impressive moves.
