WWE SmackDown Live: Results, Review, and Grades for November 27th
Randy Orton is back after he ripped the mask off of Rey Mysterio last week after their match. He’s got the mask in his hand tonight as he hits his pose in the ring. He acknowledges all the nasty words we’ve called him after he took the mask, but naturally, he doesn’t really agree.
Rey Mysterio of course couldn’t care less about Orton has to say, and he interrupts Orton with a new mask and a neck brace. The brace isn’t enough to stop him from flying down the ramp and attacking Orton.
Orton ultimately gets the better of Mysterio though, and he manages to rip off Mysterio’s brace. Inside the ring, however, Mysterio lands the 619, but Randy counters with his DDT off the middle rope (vintage Orton).
Orton goes no-holds-barred after that, attacked Rey with a steel chair, before the refs finally cart him off.
They’re going to book this match for TLC, no question. The mask is a big deal (at least to me), and there’s no way, no way they don’t let Mysterio go over on this one.
Meanwhile, Miz is upset at Shane McMahon for ditching him for what was supposed to be their tag match.
