Impact Wrestling is officially well into their journey towards their PPV Homecoming on January 6th. Let’s take a look at who’s on top of the Impact Roster as the stretch to Homecoming begins.

Impact Wrestling has already been leaving us with a lot to look forward to as they begin building towards the Homecoming PPV next month. Johnny Impact will take on Brian Cage (who is cashing in on the X Division Champion’s Option C) for the Impact World Championship, the tension between Knockout’s Champion Tessa Blachard and Taya Valkyrie is at an all time high, and there may realistically be no one that Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix can’t beat.

Let’s take a look of who came out on top after this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling and who’s already looking the strongest looking towards Homecoming.

1. Brian Cage (11/15 X-Division Title defense over Sami Callihan)
23-1-5 (0.810), Impact World Title #1 Contender (Option C)

Cage cashed in his X-Division Title two weeks ago, guaranteeing himself a World Title shot at Homecoming. Since rejoining Impact in 2018, Cage’s only losses have come in tag team or multi-man matches and he seems poised and ready for a run as the company’s top champion

2. Tessa Blanchard 14-4 (0.778) – Impact Knockout’s Champion (91 days)

After a troublesome start with the company, Tessa set her sights on the Knockout’s Championship and hasn’t looked back. Since winning the title in a three way match, Tessa’s only loss came at her own hands, punching out an official, getting herself disqualified against Taya Valkyrie.
