WWE 205 Live just celebrated its two-year anniversary. The high-flyers of the cruiserweight division have been turning out incredible performances week in and week out, however, the brand has yet to have a PPV of it’s own. It’s no secret they’ve overdue for one and if they can’t fight each other, maybe they should just challenge the superstars of the Raw and SmackDown Live.

In the hour that WWE 205 Live gets each week, the cruiserweights take what they are given and put on amazing matches. Whether it be the many battles between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali, the championship reign of Buddy Murphy, or even Drew Gulak and the No Fly Zone, 205 has proven to be entertaining and worthy of a viewing every episode.

We’ve seen most of the roster mix it up together, so allowing the superstars of 205 Live to go head-to-head with wrestlers from the main roster could be the perfect change of pace.

This wouldn’t have to be a weekly thing, but instead an annual event on the WWE Network that showcases the best of 205 Live against the members of Raw and SmackDown Live willing to accept the challenge. Dream matches, once-in-a-lifetime contests, and more would be on the table if something like this were to come to fruition, and fans, 205 Live and the WWE Universe deserve to see it happen.

Until we get a 205 Live vs. Main Roster PPV, we’ll have to just debate which matches we would want to see. I’ll start with a kickoff match, before moving on to some of the best bouts I could dream up for an eight-match card for this monumental event.
