Asuka Can Get Revenge On Charlotte

After winning the first Women’s Royal Rumble, Asuka went into WrestleMania 34 riding high with her unprecedented undefeated streak from NXT still intact. Asuka challenged Charlotte Flair, as she wanted to face the best of the best – and not pathological cheater Alexa Bliss.

The match itself was one of the best on the main roster this year, even including the bizarre finish where Asuka quickly tapped out to Charlotte, losing her title match and undefeated streak to a Figure Eight that wasn’t even fully bridged. Asuka and Charlotte gave each other all they had, but on that night, Flair was the better woman inside that ring.

Though Asuka has since recovered from that loss and multiple defeats to Carmella, she still hasn’t obtained the one thing that matters above everything else: revenge.

Asuka needs to exact revenge on Charlotte for that loss at WrestleMania 34 and prove to the WWE Universe that her losses were anomalies. Though she didn’t show it, Asuka had to have been affected greatly by the defeat to “The Queen” at WrestleMania, seeing how it helped lead to her downward slide against Carmella, as she was easily distracted in those matches. As the IIconics and Carmella pointed out, this wasn’t the same Asuka.

But while Asuka enjoys having fun with her new best friend, Naomi, while stomping all over the likes of Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, the killer in her has never left.

At WWE TLC 2018, Asuka finally has an opportunity get one back on Charlotte, perhaps targeting her the most in a brutal Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match en route to winning her first title on the main roster, which has certainly been a long time coming.
